A fairly bizarre season
Here in the southwest area of the country we have reached what I call the bizarre time of year, which happens to be Fall.
Of course, it is not similar to the Fall in normal parts of the world, here it is super hot in the day plus pretty darn frigid at night! My central heating plus a/c machine sure gets a true workout this time of the year.
At night I will have our gas furnace on with the control component set at 73 degrees. Then, by Noon the next day I have flipped the control component over to the air conditioning machine plus the control component is set at 79 degrees because it is practically one hundred degrees outside! This time of the year all kinds of people end up getting sick here because of the extreme change in weather… Not to mention, the central heating plus a/c in many people’s residences experience breakdowns because of the extreme change from heating to air conditioning all of the time. This will all happen between October plus late November right before Thanksgiving! What I advocate to reduce the risk of a heating plus a/c breakdown is to get yourself a portable section gas furnace to use inside the night hours. That way you do not have to run your central gas furnace plus save both money plus life on your central heat plus a/c machine. This is what I finally ended up doing after all the back plus second caused our Heating plus Air Conditioning machine to easily break down last year. I will not let something like this happen again!
