We went with ductless HVAC this time around
The fact that every one of us was so uneasy to have our own cabin may have led us to missing a few details.
For sure, every one of us did the normal cabin inspection as well as all of that prior to closing, this also revealed that there would be some pretty dire renovations to make to the cabin in order for it to be the cabin every one of us wanted it to be, then a major challenge was the HVAC equipment.
The people I was with and I knew going in that the HVAC component was aged as well as had to be replaced with a modern residential HVAC unit. That’s something every one of us budgeted for as well as were going to stay with the central air conditioning as well as simply add a modern heat pump. There were also other issues that had to be addressed in our cabin as well. This led to our focus being a bit fractured. When every one of us did get to the point where every one of us were actually ready to have the HVAC component replaced, every one of us called the local HVAC dealer. The HVAC dealer came to our cabin as well and she was great; and before she did anything, the HVAC professional inspected the HVAC system. What she found was something every one of us weren’t counting on. The HVAC duct would not pass inspection… It wouldn’t work with the modern HVAC unit as well as it had to be replaced. This was something that was way out of our budget as well as so every one of us were unsure of what to do next. The HVAC dealer then suggested that every one of us go with a ductless multi cut system. Not only was this ductless heat pump idea within our budget, every one of us didn’t have to go through the chaos of ripping out the HVAC duct as well as replacing it completely.
