Ken wanted to understand why the AC was freezing up frequently
Ken and his wife have been married for only 2 years.
As a long haul truck driver, he is far away from home for days on end. So, this is part of why it took him so long to get married, and hopefully start a family. Ken met Marie at a stop in another state when he went into this diner to buy some food. He took it upon himself to complement her, and they struck up a conversation. She was working as a waitress at the diner, and he promised to pass by after his drop. Ken came back, and they began communicating, until he popped the question about a year later. Now, they’re married and Marie moved to Ken’s home state where they purchased a house together. Before they start a family, they wanted to do some renovations to the house. One area of focus was the kitchen which Marie wanted to modernize. One day when Ken was away for work, Marie phoned him and said there was an issue with the air conditioning. Ken was too far away to take a look, so he asked Marie to explain what she saw in the air conditioner. Marie took a look and said it seemed there was ice forming on it. Ken wanted to understand why the AC was freezing up, so he advised Marie to phone the local Heating and AC. Once the Heating and AC expert arrived, he did an evaluation and said they had a refrigerant leak which was causing ice to form. When the ice had thawed, the Heating and AC expert had to repair the refrigerant lines to stop this from happening.
