Water around central air conditioning system and water on floor of basement
In the morning I try to wake my kids up an hour before we have to leave.
My two kids are not morning people at all.
It takes them at least a half hour just to get dressed because they mosey around and complain about how they don’t want to go to school. There been a few times where their laziness and no motivation of going to school will make me late to work. One day I was extremely late to work because the didn’t get ready fast enough and when I went downstairs to the basement I saw excess water puddling near the air conditioning unit, that’s not supposed to be there. Normally our air conditioning unit will drain out to a drain in her basement. But for some reason there was more water than normal. I don’t know a whole ton about heating and cooling so I decided to use one of my emergency service calls from my HVAC technician. He came within twenty minutes later. When he took a look at it he believed that the drain pan for the air conditioning evaporator coil was overflowing due to some kind of blockage. This was what was causing me a little bit more water in my basement than normal. The HVAC technician used r long wire that he got out of his van to clear out the blockage that was supposively near the mouth of the drain pipe. It seems to be that that was the issue because it’s been a few days and we haven’t seen as much water as we did that day.
