Our furnace ended up tearing up right when the weather started cooling off.

That’s just about how my luck always is.

I never have good luck.The same thing actually happened to me last spring whenever the weather started warming up for the first time in months. I was so ready for the summer, and I was all excited about the temperatures getting warmer, but then my air conditioning tore up. I cannot believe my luck back then, and I cannot believe it now. Back in the spring, I had to pay a small fortune to the local heating and cooling company to have them come and fix my central air conditioning system for me. I had no idea how much it was gonna cost to get my central air conditioning system fixed. When they told me what the total was, I nearly passed out! I really hope it’s not going to be the same kind of thing this year when I get the bill for my heating repair. I know I’m going to have to do something about it, because I’m not the kind of person who can live without a good heating system throughout the winter. I’m actually a little bit of a freeze baby, if you want to know the truth. I’m always cold, and so I have to have a functioning furnace at all times. I use the gas furnace in my house, too, but that’s not enough to keep the whole place warm. I use the fireplace to try and keep extra warm at night when I’m watching TV.

I honestly didn’t expect much when our HVAC specialist started telling us about different energy saving tips.

He seemed to be rather passionate about saving energy.

He spoke of how we could all help save the environment by actively choosing to save energy. It wasn’t all about just saving money, though that was a huge plus. It was about creating less pollution. Basically, when we use a lot of energy, the pollution to the environment gets out of control. He even told us how it’s pressing to look into renewable energy sources for less pollution and less strain on the energy grid. He said it would be great for everybody to consider investing in geothermal HVAC systems as well. He said he had one of those and it was the best choice he had ever made. Not only were his energy bills lower than he ever had in his life, but he was not polluting the environment at all! It was all very inspirational until he put me to the challenge. He asked me about my workplace and I told him I worked at an office in town. He asked me if they were open on the weekends which we rarely ever were. That’s when he explained that it would be beneficial to make sure they turn off all the lights and HVAC system on the weekends to save energy! I asked how I would benefit from that, and he smiled and said, I would be helping to save the environment even when asking others to save energy in simple ways like that.

I don’t know who decided to put the thermostat in the laundry room of our house, but that’s where it was.

• Whenever we were doing laundry and had the dryer running, it would tend to cause the laundry room to overheat.

I have carefully checked the vent many times also and realized there was nothing more I could do to prevent all that additional heating inside of there. This of course affected the thermostat so that it thought it was warm enough in the house, when in reality, the house was freezing. In the summer season when we were using the cooling system, the thermostat thought we needed more cooling, so then it became way too frosty throughout the house when doing laundry. Finally, I decided to have an HVAC specialist come out to help us figure out the problem. I was thinking that we would just move the thermostat to a new location, but he was saying that our HVAC system was pretty old and asked if we had been thinking about an upgrade. Actually, we were thinking about doing that, we even had the money for such a substantial upgrade. He easily recommended we go for a ductless mini split system. He said we would be able to appreciate the customized temperature control settings with different zones in the house, and this sounded quite appealing. After the new system was installed, everybody was happy because we no longer had issues with a thermostat being in the laundry room and the whole house feeling uncomfortable. We also have been saving a good amount on our energy bills.

We have an old boiler system and a fairly new ductless mini split in our home. I honestly wanted to go for a 5 zone system to cover our bedroom and my office, but we couldn’t get one of those systems because they were out of stock. I installed the 3 zone system on my own, and it was kind of intimidating in the beginning, but it actually was a breeze to get through the installation. Also, the ductless mini split is so energy efficient that it helps to lower the gas bill when the boiler system is being used together with the ductless mini split. I’m honestly surprised because my electric bills have gone down a good amount and we can save more money now. Well, sometimes when the boiler doesn’t turn on as much because the ductless mini split has most everything covered, I get a little bit chilly while working in my office. When the boiler kicks on though, I feel just fine. So my wife decided to purchase me something really nice, a portable space heater. It’s honestly a really nice heater and it came with a remote control. I love how I can adjust the temperature control settings as needed in my office these days. Of course, I might want to think about getting a portable AC unit for my office as well because that will be really nice. In the meantime, I just have to leave my office door open and let the cooling AC flow into my workspace from the ductless mini split. Hey, you can’t underestimate the ductless mini split. It doesn’t necessarily seem powerful, but it really does an awesome job providing heating and cooling for your home.

It wasn’t long after we moved into our home when I realized that my home office had uneven heating and cooling. I decided to call an HVAC specialist to see what could be done to improve the situation so I could actually be comfortable while I was working. The HVAC specialist told me that one major issue was the clogged up ductwork. He also said he suspected there was a problem with the insulation in the office environment. It did feel far cooler in the winter and far warmer in the summer than any other parts of the household. It’s kind of a shame that we bought the house in the spring season when the temperatures were just right, so I couldn’t tell there were uneven temperatures until later on. Fortunately, the HVAC specialist had solutions to the issue. He took care of the ductwork cleaning and he gave me a business card of a contractor where they will add sufficient insulation in your home. So I called that contractor and these people were just as nice as the HVAC specialist was. They were able to handle the issue and they even showed me how poor the insulation was previously. I decided to have insulation redone in the entire house. While this did cost a great deal of money, I have been feeling the differences in the peak seasons and I appreciate having stable temperatures in my home these days. Lately though, I have been thinking about going for a zoned HVAC system, so that I can have customized temperature control settings in my office.

We all go through tough times every now and again, some people more than others.

Of course, I think most people have been going through some of the most stressful times of their lives through the course of this pandemic.

I was especially worried in the beginning, that’s why I went to invest in a powerful air purification system. The air purification system comes with a UV light that knocks out contagions like clockwork. I knew I would need something like that to help keep my family safe over these years, and it has worked very well. So, at least that was something that helped relieve some of the stress I have been feeling. For the most part, none of us have gotten sick, except for a minor cold I had last year, but it was pretty easy to get over with regular Vitamin C, zinc, and echinacea. Even when I was able to have family members visit after the lockdowns, everybody was asking about my amazing air quality in the house. I told everybody that I was using the UV air purification system and I highly recommended that everybody choose to invest in the same thing. You know, after dealing with such a serious situation in the world, it wasn’t a difficult choice for everybody to listen to what I was saying. I talked about how the UV light worked to knock out the pathogens and that’s basically all they needed to hear. I didn’t even have to say anything about the HEPA filter that the system uses and how it also pulls 99.9% of contaminants from the air.

I was proud of my baby brother when he became an HVAC technician.

I was even more impressed when he started his new contractor.

He always had a dream of running his own business, but I often wondered if he would achieve that goal or not. His new contractor was fantastic with quality customer service, knowledge of all makes and models of HVAC systems, and competitive pricing! Now, I have had services from my brother when he was a regular HVAC technician, but now that he ran his own contractor, I decided to enroll in his HVAC service plan as soon as he told me about it! Seriously, if there’s anybody in this world who I feel I can put my trust in, it’s my brother. He has been doing this for so long, and I feel it’s the least I can do as his older brother to support him in his business. Well, his business has been getting excellent reviews, and his clients are lining up! Sometimes I wonder if I should get out of the hotel business and start working with him in the HVAC industry. Of course, my hotel has been successful over the years as well, but I’m so happy that I have my brother’s team of professionals to service the HVAC equipment as needed. And with his HVAC service plan, I am saving so much money compared to other HVAC companies I have done business with in the past. At this point in time, I’m actually thinking about starting up another hotel, but I am looking into other investment options as well.

Being an adult means getting gleeful about getting a modern Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C plan installed in your house, but i think that that sounds so lame to younger people who aren’t homeowners or anything love that, however to older people love me, it’s so exciting! Anyway, the only other thing that I have ever been this gleeful about was the morning that I got our modern washer plus dryer combo, however that was a charming morning, that’s for sure! However, now that I am on the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C business’s schedule to get our modern Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C plan installed, I suppose that I am even more gleeful now than I was on washer plus dryer delivery morning! I had to make an appointment a long time ago because they were easily backed up plus they weren’t even getting all of the supplies plus equipment that they needed on a typical basis a couple of weeks ago, however, now it seems as if all of the supply chain problems plus the product shortages are finally rectified, but when the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C corporation called myself and others the other morning to schedule the date for delivery plus for installation, I was so gleeful that I could barely contain myself.

• The morning is coming up soon, plus I am literally marking off the mornings on the calendar in anticipation of the morning that our Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C plan will be installed.

I suppose being an adult means that you start caring about the things that you never cared about before. I think that I never used to prefer Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C systems, however now I just can’t wait for our modern a single!

The people I was with and I really want to get a getaway cottage, but we want to be sure that we can find a arena with a fireplace in it. I know that that sounds deranged and a little bit overly particular, but it’s just one of the things that I think make a getaway current home special. I have always wanted a current home with a wood burning fireplace in it, but for some reason I have never been able to get that throughout my entire life. I am almost at retirement age now, and I still have never lived in a current home with a fireplace! I think that has pretty ridiculous, and so when we decided that we were going to start looking for getaway homes, the one thing that I said that I wanted to have was a wood burning fireplace and I kneel by that… My husband says that I can’t be so choosy, but at this point in my life I know appreciate I can afford to be choosy! I told him that I genuinely refuse to sign on the dotted line for a current getaway current home unless it has a wood burning fireplace in it… And I mean it! I have decided that I am going to put my foot down about this because usually I just let whatever I want go right out the window. These mornings though, I am more inclined to fight for what I genuinely want, and what I want is a getaway current home with a wood burning fireplace in it. I know that if we just bide our time, we will be able to find the perfect getaway current home with a good Heating and A/C system in it. And more importantly, we will be able to find one with a built-in wood burning fireplace!

I know that is pretty ridiculous, and so when we decided that we were going to start looking for getaway homes, the 1 thing that I said that I wanted to have was a wood burning fireplace and I sit by that… My hubby says that I can’t be so choosy, however at this point in our life I suppose prefer I can afford to be choosy! I told him that I absolutely refuse to sign on the dotted line for a current getaway condo unless it has a wood burning fireplace in it… And I mean it! I have decided that I’m going to put our foot down about this because usually I just let whatever I want go right out the window. These afternoons though, I’m more inclined to fight for what I genuinely want, and what I want is a getaway condo with a wood burning fireplace in it.
