My son has been asking for a pet ferret almost as soon as he could talk.

• Finally my great friend and I agreed to let him have one.

Apparently one of his friends was rehoming a ferret so I didn’t unquestionably see a reason why our son couldn’t have it. After all, it was free. What I should have done was ask why the ferret was being rehomed. But that didn’t occur to me at the time. So, long story short, my great friend and I made the decision to go and picked up the ferret and all of the ferret supplies. I did know about ferret proofing the home and I thought I did a pretty great job of it. I feel I did not because about an hour after bringing the ferret condo it got into our Heating and Air Conditioning air duct. I feel one of the vent covers was loose in the hallway and the ferret ferreted itself behind the vent cover and into the air duct. My great friend and I tried everything my great friend and I could find to lure the ferret out of the air duct system. None of it worked. Finally my great friend and I had to call out the Heating and Air Conditioning suppliers. They had to come out and take the air duct apart in order to extract the ferret. Afterwards, I had them make sure all of the vent covers were screwed down tightly and ferret proof. I am thrilled I did because they found 2 more vent covers that were loose and 1 vent cover that had a hole in it and needed replacing. Now I know that the Heating and Air Conditioning system is ferret proof at least. I hope the ferret doesn’t cause any more complications anywhere else in the house.

My pet just loves these liver treats I get for him, then he will literally dance when I go to the treat bag.

As soon as I hand over the treat he goes to a quiet corner of the house plus eats his liver treat.

More often than not, the area he goes to is under the dining room table. In fact, under the dining room table is the pet’s number one stadium to hang out most of the time. I feel it is because there are HVAC vents under there plus the heated or cooled air kind of gets trapped under the table for a few minutes before escaping into the rest of the dining room. That seems absolutely comfortable. The only concern with this is that I started noticing that the whole house was starting to smell like a mixture of liver plus pet. That is not a pleasant smell. I changed the air filter in the HVAC system but that did nothing to improve the smell in the house. I then blocked in our HEPA filter but that only helped in the one room that the HEPA filter was in. The smell was absolutely coming from our HVAC system so I finally hired an HVAC dealer to come out plus clean our HVAC system, including the HVAC duct. They found a lot of pet hair in our HVAC duct system. They also found a few liver treats. No wonder the HVAC system smelled so bad. I might have to keep the pet from going under the table anymore. I’m just not sure how I can do that.

My coworker invited me to a comedy club that he performs at. He has been inviting me to go many times now. I always make up excuses. Not only that, however the air conditioner made a disappointing noise whenever it tried to work. The air conditioner was so loud that I couldn’t actually hear the comedians. I am not sure that was a disappointing thing though. The only thing the comedy club had going for it was the ice frosty beers. I drank quite a few of them. Despite this, the comedians never got any funnier. I finally took a taxi condo to my nice cool house. The air conditioner works good there… Plus the air conditioner is quiet. There also is no one telling disappointing jokes. I have frosty coors in the refrigerator too. I actually should have just stayed condo this Thursday evening. I would have had a lot more fun. Next time my coworker invites me to this comedy club I will politely decline. There is no way I want to go back to watch cringe-worthy performances in an uncomfortably warm building.

My husband plus I recently decided that my buddy and I wanted to start doing some homework pairs. I’ve never genuinely done home repairs plus we’ve owned the house for about five years now, and my associate and I thought it would be a relaxing time to start working on the repairs since my buddy and I have been saving our currency plus haven’t genuinely been able to do much for the past year. If I mentioned to my husband that he can’t do the kitchen maintenance I think he might divorce me. The only thing he actually wanted to have done in the house was have a brand up-to-date kitchen. I know he is going to be easily frustrated with me.

I’ve never really done household repairs and we’ve owned the home for about five years now, and my friend and I thought it would be a unbelievable time to start working on the repairs since my friend and I have been saving our currency and haven’t really been able to do much for the past year.

I guess my hubby is right when she says that she wants to do these repairs however sometimes I worry that she wants to spend more currency on household repairs than I do. My friend and I decided to take out the hardwood flooring in our bathroom and replace it with tile, then while my friend and I were doing that, my friend and I also decided to have all of the doors in our home replaced. So of course in the middle of all these household repairs are heating and cooling system stops working. I don’t know how we’re going to be able to afford all the household repairs and a modern heating and cooling system, however I guess my friend and I are going to have to figure something out and maybe not do the family room remodel that my hubby wants to do. If I mentioned to my hubby that she can’t do the family room repair I guess she might divorce me. The only thing she really wanted to have done in the home was have a brand modern family room. I know she is going to be entirely sad with me.

Since I was a little girl, I have dreamed of having underfloor heating in my powder room.

I work as a lecturer so I have the summers off… Periodically I go on getaway but, more often than not, I just try to learn a current skill over my summer time getaway.

This past getaway I attempted to put heating under my powder room flooring. I researched it a lot, read up on everything, as well as got the supplies would need. I then began ripping up the tile in the powder room. This was a lot of work as well as particularly messy, however once that was done, I laid down the heat matting. Of course I was careful not to chop the wire that runs through the matting. After that, it was a easy as gouging out a space for the temperature control as well as wiring up the temperature control. The hardest part was sitting the current tile back down. It took me a long time to master the tile cutter.
