A wonderful christmas
It was the most wonderful time of the year.
Christmas! Everybody in my family was already making their list.
This weekend I planned to go shopping for Christmas gifts. I couldn’t wait to see my kid’s faces light up on Christmas morning. I had bought them some of their favorite toys and I knew it would be a Christmas to remember. Meanwhile my husband had been sneaking around a lot, and I guessed he was trying to sneak a gift for me. But everytime I asked him he kept his lips sealed. That was fine with me, I too had snuck him a gift. When Christmas morning came, my husband and I sat down and watched our children scream with joy with every gift they opened. When it came time for me and my husband to open each other’s gifts, we decided to do it at the same time so we could each be surprised. When I opened mine, I gasped in surprise. It was a mini-portable air conditioner! Just small enough to fit in a big box. He also was surprised I had gotten him a heater. It was far too big to fit in a box so I left a note saying it was a heater and to go outside and take a look at it. He did and sure enough there was the heater standing outside, we both hugged each other. I asked him how he was able to get the mini portable air conditioning unit, when I had last seen it it had been expensive. He told me that the local HVAC company had a sale and he was able to buy the last one. A week later the new heater was installed and our entire heating and cooling system was incredible.
