HVAC tech as a friend
My best friend has worked at a local HVAC company since we were in high school and he is excellent at working on heating and cooling systems.
He is the only person that I would let work on my heating and cooling system because he really is so talented.
I think that he should open up his own HVAC business but he is very hesitant to make the move. He is comfortable at his current company and I know that he just doesn’t want to leave his comfort zone. I don’t think that my friend is lazy, but he doesn’t have the same drive to own his own business like I do. I don’t mean for that to come off like I am better than my friend but I do think that he sells himself short sometimes. I really wish he would just open up his own HVAC company because he is the best in the business. So I mentioned to him that I would go into business with him and do all the administrative work and he could continue to work on HVAC systems. We would split everything 50/50 and I think that I have gotten him onboard. I really think that we are going to do a great job because I have the business skills and he has the HVAC skills. I am going to work on a business plan for our new HVAC company and show him how much money I think we can make together and then I think that he will really be ready to open up the HVAC business together.
