Being an A/C nerd was my path to success

I have no problems with saying that I am a nerd.

I have always been somewhat nerdy, back before it was cool.

I’m not saying that being a nerd is that “cool” however there are sitcoms, movies, & entire conventions based around the power of being a nerd. The kids who used to be nerds are now the 1s running corporations & reinventing the internet, so the people I was with and I have a little clout. I can trace my work path back to the nerdy interest of playing Dungeons & Dragons as a teenager, although not in the way you might be thinking. I run a genuinely small, genuinely exclusive Heating, Ventilation, & A/C systems company that caters to high end buyers who need temperature control systems that are virtually invisible. Not invisible like transparents, however invisible like the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system & ductwork is installed in a way to blend in so seamlessly with the rest of the decor you would never notice it; When the people I was with and I were teens the people I was with and I had to play D&D down in the basement, where it was moldy & muggy & there was no air conditioner at all. The house was so old the ductwork didn’t extend into the basement, so my friends & I had to be creative when it came to being comfortable. Thankfully, 4 sweaty nerds were entirely able to rig something up for cooling us down, however the people I was with and I also had to do it sneakily, so the parents didn’t find out. That was where my work started, & now I sneakily set up cooling systems for anyone who can afford my services.
