I was not too happy about the HVAC repairs I had to complete

I wasn’t expected to find extreme setbacks with my property when I had it checked not too long ago. I wanted to do this ahead of putting it on the market to sell, hoping I could prevent any unwanted shocks when a potential purchaser eventually has their own inspection taken care of on the premises. I expected the inspector to notice the complete lack of caulk on some of the windows plus in the bathrooms, however that was only the beginning. He said I needed an up-to-date electrical box with more breakers to more safely distribute the load of electricity from a single portion of the property to the next. Then I had to make an appointment to have a section of the roof repaired, even though I feel that I’m fortunate to have avoided a roof replacement. One of the last setbacks the inspector managed to locate in my property was the faulty Heating, Ventilation & A/C equipment. I was never impressed by the performance of my cooling equipment plus furnace, even though I never put too much thought into it. He said that I needed to have my HVAC duct sealed as it was leaking into the attic in numerous key arenas. I also needed an up-to-date coil for the cooling equipment, however because of its 14-year age, he made the suggestion that I replace the HVAC equipment altogether. I’m hoping that all of these repairs will result in more currency earned when the property sells eventually. It was a level of financial adversity I simply wasn’t expecting. The repairs to the Heating, Ventilation & A/C equipment alone totaled just below a few thousand dollars. But since it’s a massive property with a fairly significant plot of land, that investment should only be a little portion of what I can fork for this property when it hits the market.
