Both of us didn’t have air conditioner for several mornings! It was not a fun time for our family.
It was over a hundred degrees outside for more than one of the several mornings.
I was not sure if both of us would make it. It was so much worse than both of us ever thought that it would be, however both of us lost power because of a few tornadoes that hit our area; They knocked down hundreds, maybe even thoUSnds of telephone poles. The power in our entire neighborhood was out for several mornings. It was rough, to say the least, then my family plus I are so spoiled. Both of us are used to having a nice cool house, so when this happened, it was so hot that both of us could not function. Both of us couldn’t travel somewhere because of the disfigure done to the roads. Both of us were stuck in the home all morning when it was a hundred degrees outside. Both of us tried to get a generator, but both of us were not able to. It was so hot in our home that both of us were convinced that both of us could cook a hamburger on our countertop. It may not have been that boiling in the house, but it was boiling enough to make us super uncomfortable. Both of us all slept in the basement even though it was nasty down there because it was the coolest locale in the entire house. Both of us have never prayed so difficult for the power to come back on in our lives. Both of us needed air conditioner. One thing this whole experience taught us was to be super thankful for air conditioner. I don’t think both of us will ever complain about it being too boiling in our home again.
