When I was growing up I knew one thing for sure.
I never wanted to be the sort of woman who reported to a cubicle all morning for the rest of our life.
I absolutely care about the method of staring at a screen for the next 50 years. In our mind, it was best to find some kind of active work that would actually engage myself and others from dawn until dusk. Unluckyly, this is not what happened. Rather than becoming a creative professional I fell into the trap of laboring for corporations. I stared at ipad screens every morning as well as felt our eyup burn. That’s when I decided that I made a large mistake as well as needed to go back to university. The most logical solution was to attend a local trade university so I could enter a professional career that included laboring with our hands. The next thing I knew, I was graduating from our heating as well as cooling certification program. It only took myself and others 18 weeks to become a licensed HVAC worker as well as to find a professional task at a local air quality control dealership. The entire time I was in university our family asked about our choice in the heating as well as cooling industry. They could not understand why I would supply up a lucrative position in a major contractor to repair air conditioner units as well as forced air gas furnaces everyday, then no matter how often I try to tell people about our preference for driving around the city, fixing heating as well as cooling equipment, as well as meeting with the central HVAC owners… People can’t seem to understand our desire to work with our hands beyond our keyboard.
