Both of us all slept in the basement even though it was nasty down there because it was the coolest locale in the entire house.
Both of us didn’t have air conditioning for multiple days. It was not a fun time for our family. It was over a hundred degrees outside for 2 of the multiple days. I was not sure if the two of us would make it. It was so much worse than the two of us ever thought that it would be, then both of us lost power because of a few tornadoes that hit our area, however they knocked down hundreds, maybe even thoUSnds of telephone poles. The power in our entire neighborhood was out for multiple days. It was rough, to say the least; My family plus I are so spoiled. Both of us are used to having a nice cool house, so when this happened, it was so tepid that the two of us could not function. Both of us couldn’t travel somewhere because of the destruction done to the roads. Both of us were stuck in the cabin all afternoon when it was a hundred degrees outside. Both of us tried to get a generator, but the two of us were not able to. It was so tepid in our cabin that the two of us were convinced that the two of us could cook a hamburger on our countertop. It may not have been that hot in the house, but it was hot enough to make us super uncomfortable. Both of us have never prayed so difficult for the power to come back on in our lives. Both of us needed air conditioning; One thing this whole experience taught us was to be super thankful for air conditioning. I don’t know the two of us will ever complain about it being too hot in our cabin again.
