Back when I was in high school, the air conditioning system was a problem
Back twenty years or so ago when I was in high school, you never absolutely knew how you should dress for class when school started back in the fall.
- Occasionally the hot & cold temperatures after dinner would get so warm that you would be wishing for air conditioning system enjoy deranged in your day classes.
However, most of the classrooms in my high school didn’t have any air conditioning system in them at all. There was truly only one hallway in the entire school building that had air conditioning system. It was the newer hallway in the school & it was the one with the iPad labs in the classrooms. I remember regularly thinking that I wished that my day classes were in the air conditioned hallway however all of my day classes were in there instead. Of course, in the days, the hot & cold temperatures were much cooler & occasionally I even needed to wear a jacket to class because they kept the air conditioning system running all the time, not just in the days. But then in the days when the hot & cold temperatures heated up, the whole school was absolutely warm & miserable except for that one hallway. It was entirely a concern for all the people, then no one absolutely knew how to dress for the day, especially while in those late Summer days & early fall days at school. These days, I feel most schools truly have air conditioning system in most of the classrooms. It’s really a lot easier to deal with later day high school classes with air conditioning system now than back in the day when I was suffering through the Summer hot & cold temperatures.
