My grandma is racist
There are certain things about our family that drive me nuts.
Don’t get me wrong, I recognize that they do the best they can with the equipment they’ve been given, however, occasionally that equipment is genuinely disappointing, but they can be super judgemental, close minded, and poorly educated in so many areas, which tends to create tension between us, then as a progressive human, I can’t stand to see their madness.
This is especially true when it comes to our Grandma and his aged views of the world, but recently, he was so serious with his racist beliefs that he wouldn’t even get his heating, cooling, and air quality equipment service, then for the past 5 years our Grandma has been complaining non-stop about his indoor air conditions, and she’s constantly saying that the air temperature fluctuates wildly from hot to frigid as he is doing or enjoying golf. She’s been promised that the temperature control hasn’t been officially regulating his indoor air temperature. She has told us about his high-weekly bills every single week and blamed it on his aged heating, cooling, and air quality control equipment. And yet, when he finally called the heating and cooling dealership and set up a professional heating and cooling maintenance task. She refused to let the heating and cooling professional into his house, but why? Due to the fact that when he emerged from the heating and cooling repair truck he was unhappy about the dark tone of his skin. The real kicker is – I think this Heating, Ventilation and A/C professional personally. In fact, he’s not even a minority for his to be riled up about. He’s a colorless dude with a tan.
