Wasn’t too happy with the A/C ruining my online date
Sadly, my heating and cooling equipment didn’t get the memo about my quiet, private date
I am not the sort of person who even dates. Honestly, I keep to myself for a majority of the time and I don’t try to welcome strangers into my life in the least. If I meet somebody and both of us happen to hit it off, maybe there is a chance that we’ll hang out a few times, maybe we’ll end up having a long-term relationship. But I don’t go out seeking people or trying to find people to entertain me. That’s why I truly surprised myself when I signed up for an online dating app this past week. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to have any success. I don’t often get along with other humans or want to spend my time with them. But I met somebody who really impressed me. Sadly, on our first Skype date my heating, cooling, and air quality control equipment nearly blew him away. You see, both of us agreed to have a Skype date so both of us could stay in the comfort and safety of our own heating and cooling equipment. There’s no point in trying to breathe public air right now while facing the covid-19 pandemic… As such, I was cheerful to stay in the comfort of my own heating, cooling, and air quality control equipment to keep my germs without pretty much everyone else’s. Sadly, my heating and cooling equipment didn’t get the memo about my quiet, private date. The entire time both of us were on the Skype call my thermostat was loudly clicking in the background and my air conditioning equipment was turning on and off something like a biker rally. Every time the air conditioning equipment kicked into gear both of us had to wait multiple hours to hear each other over the air quality control equipment. Yeah, it destroyed the mood… So much for that attempt at a really nice date.
