Air purifier for the cat

I recently moved to a new home and my cat came with me.

He was strictly an outdoor kitty that slept inside when it was cold.

Now my poor cat has to be quarantined for two weeks before I can trust him outside. Apparently cats try to run back to their old turf if you let them outside immediately. I had to get my cat a litter box and litter for the two week span. I am really worried about the smell in my house. I don’t want people to know I have a cat in the house because of the aroma. I remember friends’ homes as a kid that smelled like cat pee. I have litter that has a scent to it. I clean the box the moment my cat goes to the bathroom. I also mop, spray and clean inside my house frequently. I am still worried though. I recently found online that other homeowners use an air purification system to remove the aroma associated with a litter box. I found an air purifier that can install right into my ductwork or even in my HVAC system if I want to. I think I am going to do this. The cost of an air purifier is really not that much in the grand scheme of things. Even when my cat becomes an outdoor cat, the air purifier will still be helpful. It can remove dust, dirt and hair from the air quality. Smells, mold and mildew formation are also gone using this system. Pollen, bacteria and viruses are less of an issue as well. There is only good with this system.
