Heated flooring is great for the house
Heated flooring is an amazing addition to any house, but it can be a difficult piece of equipment to install.
My wife and I wanted heated flooring in our home, but we found out that it was going to cost a fortune.
The contractor told us that we would have to remove all of the flooring to make room for the equipment. It wasn’t economical to spend the money to have heated flooring, so we let go of the dream. A couple of months ago, my wife and I sold our big house. The kids went to college and everyone was living on their own. We didn’t need a five bedroom house. We got rid of the big place and found a smaller cottage. The cottage needed some repairs which was perfect because my wife and I knew that we were going to install heated flooring in the new place. Some of the repairs that were necessary were flooring issues and we knew that we could kill two birds with one stone. My wife and I called a couple of building contractors that also do HVAC work like heated flooring and solar options. It didn’t take long to find someone great to work on the house. There are some days when I really miss having the kids in the house, but I absolutely love the new flooring. It feels so warm under my feet, especially in the morning hours. I’m going to talk my wife into a patio spa next. I know it won’t take very much coaxing to get her on board with the idea.
