My partner’s promotion caused us to move
I was shocked when our partner got a certainly sizable promotion at her job last year and we ended up having to transport basically all the way across the country because of it. I mean, I recognize you never certainly guess what life is going to throw at you, so you just better go and be prepared for anything that might come your way. That’s how it’s constantly been in our marriage, anyway. When she got this promotion, they told us that we didn’t have to transport at first. But then all of a sudden, everything changed and the position was on the other side of the country in a totally weird climate! I was really worried about the fact that we were all going to have to get used to a totally current climate and temperature for most of the year. We’re from a venue where it’s constantly hot and we don’t ever have to worry about our gas furnace or a source of heating. We use a fireplace once in a while during the winter, but it’s more for atmosphere than a source of heating. The venue we ended up having to transport to is constantly cold and no 1 in this area of the country even has central a/c installed in their homes because they hardly ever need it. It’s just about constantly cold and you constantly have to make sure that your gas furnace proposal is performing to the best of its ability. I still can’t guess that we live here! I miss using the air conditioner in the summer time and I hate the cold winters.
