I cut my hand while working on a commercial HVAC system
Recently I was working on the commercial HVAC system at a local hospital.
It was a lot of gritty work and I was kind of in a rush because I wanted to try this new restaurant that opened up in the area.
Well unfortunately as I was rushing, I was being a little bit careless. I ended up cutting my hand really bad on the ductwork. Fortunately, I was in a hospital so I was able to get a doctor to work on my cut right away. They cleaned up my cut, had it disinfected and they patched me up really well. They made me sort of a priority because they wanted to have the HVAC job finished. I still ended up going out to the new restaurant and I really appreciated their excellent temperature control settings, good air quality, and fantastic food. When I got back, I told all the doctors and nurses about that place and people agreed that they had marvelous food. I was able to finish up with the work that I was doing on the commercial HVAC system and the ductwork, and everybody was pleased when it was all taken care of. I didn’t expect to hurt myself while working on their HVAC system, it’s not something I normally do. I guess that’s what I get for not paying full attention and being careless while thinking about food. It’s certainly something that I won’t let happen again, or at least I will try my best not to get injured while on the job. I actually had to take a few days off after that experience because I needed my hand to be fully healed before getting back out there in the field.
