Double air filters because of all the smoke
People who don’t ever have to deal with wildfires absolutely think they are frightening because they will burn you to death. I live in an area where wildfires are quite common, plus I can tell you that I stink them, although I never see them! Most times a wildfire doesn’t come somewhere close to a population center… but that doesn’t mean they don’t have an impact. The largest threat from wildfires isn’t the fire, it’s all the smoke they put off… Even a small wildfire can fog out hundreds of acres of land, which makes breathing taxing for some folks. Indoor air quality is harshly substantial, because you never know how polluted the air outside will be on any given afternoon. I can literally go for weeks on end without needing to run the cooling system, although I can rarely for more than a few mornings without needing the ventilation system, however basically I have l received to leave the plan fans running in my cooling system, even when I am not decreasing the temperature. By keeping the air circulating, that means it is constantly passing through the air filters, of which I have more than one. Most systems only use a single air filter, but these are special circumstances, so I use more than one different air filters in different parts of the system. If you saw how dirty the air filters got, plus how hastily they had to be substituted, you would know why I do it this way! I will do whatever it takes to ensure that I have the best indoor air conditions.
