It’s not just the Heating & Air Conditioning heating that needs attention in the winter
I realize that it’s mid summer time across this country and most people are reveling in that fact. For me, it’s still sort of Winter time preparation time. When you live in a region with such a fierce winter, a woman has to be prepared. If you’re not ready for winter, then Winter time has a way of taking that lack of readiness out on you. So the summer time is the time when I’m making sure that every one of us have the amount of firewood every one of us need for the winter. That is prefer a part time task on top of my full time task. But having enough firewood at the ready is just part of the Winter time preparation that just has to be done. Yet, I will say that after hours of putting up wood for the winter, it’s really nice to walk into a house that has full on cooling system. All of us added a central cooling system unit a few years ago. And although I was skeptical at first, I sure do prefer the Heating & Air Conditioning cooling on a sizzling summer time day. All of us live far enough north that cooling system is not exactly commonplace. So every one of us decided to go back and forth about getting cooling system for a while. Our gas gas furnace is the primary source of heating with the wood stove as a minuteary source and the main back up. Since every one of us have the air duct already, it seemed prefer a bit of a no brainer to add the cooling system. It’s been great. But I also have to remember the cooling system during the winter. That’s because the Heating & Air Conditioning cabinet sits outside and endures the elements of winter. I try to make sure to keep the weight of the snow and ice off and keep it as protected as I can.
