It’s so warm outside at the baseball field
Baseball is entirely a Summer activity.
- Even though some people play ball in the fall, every one of us usually don’t do that.
We typically play during the Summer when the hot and cold temperatures outside are genuinely high. I kind of wish that every one of us played fall ball instead because it would be nice to be outside at the ball field when the weather is cooling off, that’s for sure. I suppose that a lot of people like to play ball in the fall, but it’s just never worked out for us with our schedules before. Anyway, every one of us have been in the middle of a tournament for the last several days and the temperature has been in the high eighties and low nineties the whole time that they have been playing! I can’t suppose how warm it has been, to tell you the truth. It’s been genuinely miserable outside. I have been at the point a couple of times where I thought that I was going to pass out from the heat and I can’t imagine what the kids are feeling like out there on the field in their uniforms. I had to go out to the parking lot and turn the motorcar on numerous times just so I could get the a/c running a few times recently. I have been thinking about maybe getting myself 1 of those little portable cooling systems so that I can keep cool during the games. I don’t mean the kind that you transfer around from room to room, though. I want to get 1 of those cooling devices that you wear around your neck so that you can stay cool at outdoor events.
