Curb appeal plus HVAC gates
The lake house across the street is nuts about curb appeal.
I have tried to keep up however I can’t compete with that level. I got our lake house painted plus changed the surround from red plus brown to grey plus pale white. I also unaffixd tons of bushes, trees plus raked our perimeter. I even planted some flower beds plus stained the wood front porch. I guess I look pretty neat plus tidy. The lake house across the street is so much better. They did everything I did plus more. They have a grass service come in once a week to maintain their grass plus gardens. They have elaborate flower beds, hanging pots plus seasonal decorations localed by professionals. They also invested in a gorgeous pale white gate that surrounds the property. They even sprung for a stone driveway while I am stuck with sand. They even went one step further plus put a little pale white gate around their outdoor HVAC component. That small detail does make a difference. Now everything looks neat, organized plus tidy. I have contemplated getting our own surround for our HVAC equipment. What has stopped myself and others is cost plus functionality. Wouldn’t it be harder for the HVAC specialist to perform repairs? I also guess in the grand rue of things, hiding the HVAC doesn’t seem care about a necessary expense. Both of us have heating plus ac. What does it matter if the road sees it? I am still a bit jealous of their little gate though. I am jealous of their whole front yard. I bet the backyard is even better.
