You can flip houses plus get your money abruptly, but being a landlord is a 24/7 task if your tenants have any concerns in their home. I have had to call emergency plumbers at several in the morning because of a pipe rupture or something of that nature. Even though the rent payments cover our mortgage on the property, anything left over gets consumed by service fees! It’s taxing to continue justifying this corporation venture unless I get a property management business involved plus lose some of our profits. Whether or not it would be financially viable at that point is yet to be seen, but I’m almost to that point with our new level of frustration. One of the worst parts about getting a rental ready for a new tenant is the cleaning. The windows plus surfaces aren’t difficult, it’s the floors that require professional help. I have carpet in a single of our units plus cement in another. Carpet cleaning companies aren’t cheap, but they are affordable for the quality of work they offer. However, I don’t adore it when the floor is so bad that I have to call the grout floor cleaning service to make the venue ready for a new tenant. They never tried to fully clean the grout plus it had turned black from years of abuse. Calling a grout floor cleaning service wasn’t cheap, although I had no choice if I wanted anything but dirty black cement grout throughout our rental.
