I save money by secretly adjusting the Heating & A/C temperature controls
I hate working in a space that is too hot.
I would rather be freezing plus add layers of clothing, however when I get hot, it becomes a hard task to find ways to remain cool.
In the Winter weeks, I care about not using our Heating & A/C method at home for heating because it gets too warm for me. I especially can’t sleep with the device on at night because I have tried it over the years, plus I am yet to find a temperature that is perfect for sleeping. I think our disdain for using the heat while in the Winter stems back to our youth where at times it got so warm in our home because of the high temperature of our radiator that the family and I could not control. There were afternoons where it got so warm that I cracked a window open so that the freezing air from outside could flow in. That felt so nice and enjoyable plus though our dad yelled at myself and others about getting sick, that blast of freezing cold air was worth it. I am grateful that I no longer have to rely on a radiator for heat plus I am deeply grateful that the technology on the current Heating & A/C systems has advanced so far. To be able to control the temperature of your home or office space is important for our comfort levels. Therefore, I care about to toil in smaller offices where the temperature control isn’t regulated by a tech. I have been guilty of increasing the temperature control at the office because the office space was too warm. I live in a state that does not experience brutally freezing Winters, so I truthfully don’t see the need to use the heat. I have yet to get reprimanded for increasing the temperature control at work, however if you think about it, I am saving them a little money plus conserving energy. My blazer provides all the warmth I need.
