The best sleep I have gotten was in a cold movie theater

I went on a date with my boyfriend on a Friday night as he was adamant about going to see this newly released action movie. I was a bit worried because I had a long week at work, and I was afraid that I would be too tired to stay awake in the theater. However, I pulled through and we went to see the movie. We were well equipped with all the good snacks, like popcorn, candy, and soda, everything that we needed to watch and be thrilled by all the action from the movie. We were ecstatic because we found some good seats right in the middle of the theater, we sat down and my fear came to fruition, in less than 10 minutes I fell asleep. I believe a movie theater is one of the best places to sleep. The temperature inside is cold enough to curl up underneath a blanket, well more like a sweater and sleep comfortably. And unfortunately for my boyfriend that is exactly what I did that night, so he ended up watching the movie alone. Have you ever wondered why the temperature in the movie theater is always so cold? Their HVAC system must be running on overdrive to maintain that temperature. Well, after some research, I discovered that most theaters set their thermostats to 74 degrees because as the seats fill up the room will get warmer. Therefore, in order to prevent anyone from getting agitated because it is too hot, they keep the temperature at 74 degrees. Coincidentally, that is exactly the same temperature of my thermostat at home when I sleep. Perhaps that is why I was able to cozy up next to my boyfriend for two and a half hours of peaceful sleep. I don’t mind spending $12 for two and a half hours of sleep in a room with great air conditioning.
