A new HVAC: A Christmas gift for my granny
I was raised by my grandma after my mum was hospitalized. Mum had struggled with addiction from when she had me. She had damaged her back while giving birth which caused her a lot of pain. She was prescribed painkillers but the back pain did not improve. The pain drove her to a painkiller addiction. During this time mum was fighting her demons, grandma took care of me. She was the best parent a girl could ask for and gave me advice whenever I needed it. When I graduated as a heating technician, I was fortunate enough to get a job with a really good home comfort business. I would visit grandma as often as I could and help her with things around the house like taking up some boiler repairs. Whenever we had furnace filters for sale, I would purchase a dozen furnace filters for grandma’s boiler. I left the company after five years and moved to a more prestigious heating corp. I also managed to open a heating provider’s store near where my grandma lived. I specialized more in heating at this point and even got a master’s in heating products. On grandma’s birthday, I surprised her with a new fireplace. She could not believe it because she had been requesting the same for months. This would add more heating to the house whenever grandma needed it. A few weeks ago, I noticed that her central heating seemed troublesome. Upon checking on it, I found out that it had shut down because of its age. I got a new HVAC from a heater for sale promotion at the store as a Christmas gift and also upgraded the dial thermostat. Grandma‘s indoor comfort has improved significantly.
