The ductless mini split and boiler system work good together
We have an old boiler system and a fairly new ductless mini split in our home. I honestly wanted to go for a 5 zone system to cover our bedroom and my office, but we couldn’t get one of those systems because they were out of stock. I installed the 3 zone system on my own, and it was kind of intimidating in the beginning, but it actually was a breeze to get through the installation. Also, the ductless mini split is so energy efficient that it helps to lower the gas bill when the boiler system is being used together with the ductless mini split. I’m honestly surprised because my electric bills have gone down a good amount and we can save more money now. Well, sometimes when the boiler doesn’t turn on as much because the ductless mini split has most everything covered, I get a little bit chilly while working in my office. When the boiler kicks on though, I feel just fine. So my wife decided to purchase me something really nice, a portable space heater. It’s honestly a really nice heater and it came with a remote control. I love how I can adjust the temperature control settings as needed in my office these days. Of course, I might want to think about getting a portable AC unit for my office as well because that will be really nice. In the meantime, I just have to leave my office door open and let the cooling AC flow into my workspace from the ductless mini split. Hey, you can’t underestimate the ductless mini split. It doesn’t necessarily seem powerful, but it really does an awesome job providing heating and cooling for your home.
