Solving a critical problem with our heating and cooling setup
The fact that both of us were so distraught to have our own lake loft may have led us to missing a few details.
For sure, both of us also did the normal lake loft inspection as well as all of that prior to closing.
This revealed that there would be some pretty dire renovations to make to the loft in order for it to be the lake loft both of us wanted it to be. Another major challenge for us was the heating, ventilation and A/C equipment. The two of us knew going in that the heating, ventilation and A/C unit was outdated as well as had to be upgraded with modern residential heating, ventilation and A/C unit. That’s something both of us budgeted for as well as we were going to stay with the central air conditioning as well as simply add a modern heat pump. There were other concerns that had to be addressed in our loft as well. This led to our focus being a bit fractured, then when both of us did get to the point where both of us were ready to have the central heating, ventilation and A/C unit upgraded, both of us called the local heating, ventilation and A/C business. The heating, ventilation and A/C company came to our loft as well as he was great; before he finally did anything, the heating, ventilation and A/C professional checked the heating, ventilation and A/C system. What he found was something both of us weren’t counting on. The old air duct would not pass inspection, it wouldn’t work with the modern heating, ventilation and A/C device as well as it had to be upgraded. This was something that was way out of our budget as well as so both of us were unsure of what to do next. The heating, ventilation and A/C company then requested finally that both of us go with a ductless multi split system. Not only was this ductless heat pump system within our budget, both of us didn’t have to go through the whole chaos of ripping out the air duct as well as replacing it.
