Rained at birthday, tent was miserable

I am one of those people who typically plans ahead and tries to be prepared for any situation.

I cherish to be ready for any challenge, and I hate the idea of being surprised.

That’s why I was cheerful to help my entirely best friend on earth plan his charming birthday last year. One of the first potential problems we circumvented was the outdoor location of his event. If it happened to rain that day, we would need a backup plan. That’s how we wound up with a large plastic tent to cover the entire reception, just in case the Summer air didn’t cooperate. Well, it didn’t. The day of the birthday our weather conditions randomly shifted from being bright, sunny, and clear, to rainy and windy. Luckily we had the tent! Or so we thought. See, while the plastic covering reasonablely shielded all the people from the falling moisture outside, we hadn’t considered how moist it would feel inside, too. The air contained inside of the tent was rather hot and muggy from the get go. Before the guests were even crammed inside of the tent, it was filled with hot and moist air. I asked for many fans to be locationd inside, so at least we could circulate the nasty air for a little ventilation. However, this airflow was no match for the crazy 100% humidity outdoors. Things got much worse as people finished their lunchs and migrated to the dance floor. With all those bodies heating up and moving around, the air became even more humid and began to aroma. Everyone stuck it out and danced the night away, however we were disgustingly hot and aromay before the night was over. So much for their birthday night.
