Leave it to google

Is anyone else around here pretty sure that we will answer to our Amazon and Google overlords sooner rather than later? I don’t think I’m the only one who recognizes how insanely powerful these companies and social influencers are.

They came onto the scene and completely revolutionized the way that most Americans think, connect, and live, with minimal push back from anyone.

I know they’ve worked hard to earn our trust, or else we certainly would have sanctioned the monopolies they have become, but I have to wonder if we need to learn to fear them. I mean, how much power should a company have over us, really? Not only does Google influence us with the search results and sponsored ads it provides, but now the corporation is even expanding into home solutions. These days, they even have a startup company that is pushing passive energy heating solutions. You may have heard of geothermal heat pump systems before, but have you heard of a new model that’s offered by Google? This newer geothermal heat pump system is equipped with all the high tech control options you would expect. It is meant to completely turn the HVAC industry on its head, by providing energy efficient and affordable heat pump systems to everyman. In the past, these geothermal heat pumps have only been available to the wealthy, who could afford the technical installation process and intensive HVAC technician services. Now the global leader in search engines is working to provide these alternate heating and cooling solutions to a wider audience of consumers, and I have no doubt they will be successful. Although geothermal heating and cooling pumps have been on the market for years with limited success, the public will happily accept the alternate air quality control systems as soon as the rainbow label is slapped on it.
