It seems like all of this dirt and nasty garbage was falling straight out of the air duct as I stared at it.
I’ve been a pretty healthy human being for my entire life. In fact, I have never even been in the hospital. I have never had a major surgery, I have never broken a bone, and I have never had odd illnesses that required me to be held up in a medical facility. Thank God I haven’t had to endure all of that stress. Well, I should say I did not have to.., until now. out of the green, the past year has been full of medical mysteries in my world. All of a abrupt my body you rebelled against me. The biggest problems are in my chest and head. It feels like every single afternoon I wake up with the worst head frosty of my entire life. My sinuses are regularly inflamed, my nose is regularly running, I have been hacking out a long for well over a year now, and frankly I can’t even breathe some afternoons. I have been going to doctor after doctor trying to figure out what is going on with my respiratory health, but no one has been helping. Finally I figured out what needed to be done all on my own. I was in the attic poking around one afternoon and happen to jostle the air duct hanging overhead. As the piece of metal swung around dust and debris went flying everywhere… and it shocked me. It seems like all of this dirt and nasty garbage was falling straight out of the air duct as I stared at it. It was in that moment that I realized I had no idea if the air ducts had ever been cleaned before. The prior owners did not do a good task caring for the house. Why would I have taken care of the air ducts? I called my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C business instantly and had the air ducts scrubbed out within the week. I’m glad to report that I can breathe absolutely again.
