My dust sensitivities & air filter
I’ve been a pretty healthy human being for my entire life.
In fact, I’ve never even been in the hospital.
I’ve never had a major surgery, I’ve never broken a bone, & I’ve never had odd illnesses that required me to be held up in a medical facility. Thank God I haven’t had to endure all of that stress. Well, I should say I didn’t have to..! Until now. out of the red, the past year has been full of medical mysteries in my world. All of a hasty my body you rebelled against me. The largest complications are in my chest & head. It feels like every single afternoon I wake up with the worst head cold of my entire life. My sinuses are typically inflamed, my nose is typically running, I’ve been hacking out a long for well over a year now, & frankly I can’t even breathe some mornings. I’ve been going to healthcare worker after healthcare worker trying to figure out what is going on with my respiratory health, but no one has been helping. Finally I figured out what needed to be done all on my own. I was in the attic poking around one afternoon & happen to jostle the ductwork hanging overhead. As the piece of metal swung around dust & debris went flying everywhere… & it shocked me. It seems like all of this dirt & nasty garbage was falling straight out of the ductwork as I stared at it. It was in that moment that I realized I had no idea if the ductworks had ever been cleaned before. The prior owners didn’t do a superb job caring for the house. Why would I have taken care of the ductworks? I called my Heating plus Air Conditioning company immediately & had the ductworks scrubbed out within the week. I am excited to report that I can breathe entirely again.
