My mom has to be one of the least high maintenance people on earth. She will make do with basically anything. It does not take much for her to get by. In fact, her entire life she has barely spent a dime on herself. This goes beyond purchasing new clothes or accessories. Truly, she won’t treat herself to anything. It’s been this way for as long as I can possibly remember. She was always taking care of her kids and husband, as well as a house full of animals, before herself. That’s why my brothers and I decided to go ahead and get her a brand new HVAC system as a surprise. Since she’s not going to taking care of herself we also signed her up for five years of HVAC service contracts. Now there’s no excuse for her to live in subpar conditions are to be uncomfortable every day of her life and a cold and drafty house. My mom might not take the initiative to get a new HVAC system for herself, but at least her kids want her to live in the best indoor condition as possible.
