Cooking is an art, but baking is pure science.

I have only recently come to learn how hard and complex the baking process is! Other than throwing a pizza in the oven, I had never baked anything before COVID hit, but once I was locked down for a few weeks I decided to provide it a try. At first I approached it in the same loosey-goosey manner I do with cooking, and it was a big time failure. When I took it more seriously, it only seemed to get harder. My awful device didn’t help matters, with an outdated oven and a awful ventilation system, trying to bake anything made the whole lake house stink. There was a range hood over the stove, but the exhaust fan was long since dead, which made the whole apparatus useless, smoke and foul stinks would build up, and make the family room stink so poor I couldn’t sit to eat the food I made, so I had to go get a odd kind of air filter. I don’t mean the flimsy little fabric air filters you use in your central system, this was a free resting model.
