I realize that it’s mid summer time across this country and most people are reveling in that fact. For me, it’s still sort of Winter time preparation time. I am terrified of snakes and I would do just about anything to keep them away from me! One of the things that I have found out in our research about snakes is the fact that snakes don’t like being cold. That’s why I do want to be cold! This is especially tploy during the Summer when the outside hot and cold temperatures are extra hot. Around here, there are lots of native snakes so occasionally I don’t suppose why I even live here. But I do live here and our job and our family are here so that’s a giant complication for someone like me who doesn’t want to have to deal with snakes, ever! When I learn about the fact that snakes do not like being where it’s cold, I thought about moving to the ends of the earth where it’s typically freezing and snowy. But since I’m stuck here where they do live and thrive, I have decided to outfit our apartment with the biggest, most powerful commercial a/c unit that is available. Whenever I first called the local commercial Heating, Ventilation & A/C supplier to ask them what they had available, the Heating, Ventilation & A/C worker that I talked to assumed that I needed an a/c unit for something like a filmplex or a giant gymnasium complex. When I told him that I just wanted it for our house, she absolutely laughed. I told him that I was completely drastic and she finally helped me set up an appointment to get the a/c unit installed. Now, our entire apartment is chilly freezing all the time and I adore it that way. I don’t even care if I have to wear ski gear in the middle of the summer. At least I don’t have to worry about getting a snake in our house.

• Even though some people play ball in the fall, every one of us usually don’t do that.

We typically play during the Summer when the hot and cold temperatures outside are genuinely high. I kind of wish that every one of us played fall ball instead because it would be nice to be outside at the ball field when the weather is cooling off, that’s for sure. I suppose that a lot of people like to play ball in the fall, but it’s just never worked out for us with our schedules before. Anyway, every one of us have been in the middle of a tournament for the last several days and the temperature has been in the high eighties and low nineties the whole time that they have been playing! I can’t suppose how warm it has been, to tell you the truth. It’s been genuinely miserable outside. I have been at the point a couple of times where I thought that I was going to pass out from the heat and I can’t imagine what the kids are feeling like out there on the field in their uniforms. I had to go out to the parking lot and turn the motorcar on numerous times just so I could get the a/c running a few times recently. I have been thinking about maybe getting myself 1 of those little portable cooling systems so that I can keep cool during the games. I don’t mean the kind that you transfer around from room to room, though. I want to get 1 of those cooling devices that you wear around your neck so that you can stay cool at outdoor events.
