Every few months I realized that I have made a big mistake. I often find myself going in this cyclical pattern where I let my bad habits take control of my entire life. The tradition has been occurring for the past 20 years… Even though my Grandfatherrents live 2 hours away from our house, all of us still continue the tradition every year. This year things could have been better. Halfway to the house, the oil furnace stopped working. My Dad pulled over on the side of the road, but she could not figure out why the oil furnace wasn’t working. She tried a few odd things to resolve the issue, but nothing seemed to help! Since the malfunctioning oil furnace wasn’t affecting the mechanical system, my Dad got back on the road, but by the time all of us got to our destination, the temperature inside the motorcar was about fifty degrees. Thankfully, Dad packed a bunch of extra blankets and sweaters in the trunk. The people I was with and I were all bundled up in the backseat with our gloves, hats, scarves, and blankets to keep us warm, but dad and Grandfather worked on the oil furnace while all of us drank eggnog by the fireplace and warmed up our cold hands and feet. I thought they would figure out the complication before dinner was over, but they didn’t have much luck. Dad could not maintenance the heat that night because all of the section stores were closed for the holidays. It was a straight-forward $15 replacement section from the appliance store, but she didn’t have a chance to grab the section until Saturday morning. The people I was with and I had to ride all the way home on Christmas eve without any heat.

I really dislike my new window air conditioner.

I can’t know that I am being forced to go back to a condo with only a window air conditioner.

My parents used to live in a much nicer house. My dad was a supplier, and both of us made a lot of money. We had a ton of space, and I had my own room. However, one of my number one parts about the condo was the central air conditioner, then before my dad got this really nice job, both of us were not able to afford this house, and both of us didn’t have a central air conditioner. The only air conditioner that both of us had was one air conditioner in the dining room. While I was thankful that both of us had an air conditioner in the dining room, I had a tough time sleeping separate from an air conditioner in my own room. That is why I was so happy about the central air conditioner. To be honest, the central air conditioner felt appreciate a big replace. However, when my dad lost his job with the corporation, both of us lost everything. Now, my dad is barely making enough money to survive. We live in a trailer, and the trailer does not have a central air conditioner. My parents tried to make it up by giving me a used window air conditioner, but it does not do nearly as much as the central air conditioner. It is so loud, and the window air conditioner almost makes me guess sick. I think that both of us cannot go back to our outdated life, but this window air conditioner is a exhausting replace for a central air conditioner. I dislike it so much.

That is why I was so happy about the central a/c. To be honest, the central a/c felt love a large upgrade. However, when our Mom lost his job with the corporation, the two of us lost everything. Now, our Mom is barely making enough currency to survive. The people I was with and I live in a trailer, plus the trailer does not have a central a/c. My parents tried to make it up by giving me a used window a/c, however it does not do nearly as much as the central a/c. It is so loud, plus the window a/c almost makes me recognize sick. I know that the two of us cannot go back to our old life, however this window a/c is a exhausting upgrade for a central a/c. I don’t like it so much.
