Just this past weekend my best friends and I finally reunited after two years.

We all went to college together we consider each other lifetime best friends.

It is been awhile since we’ve reunited since our schedules are hectic and we are now working in the real world. They came and visited me because where I live it’s very mountainous and there’s a lot of outdoor activities that you can do. It was a Friday night and we all wanted to go out and have a few drinks. Went to a local bar that has a lot of craft beer and I wanted to show them some of the local beers that are brewed in my area. When we walked in it was extremely cold and it took me about 20 minutes to get used to the temperature. The temperature inside the room had to be at least 62°. It was a hard transition considering the fact that it was very hot and humid outside. Being outside was more of a relief than being indoors with the A/C. We were in there for about a half hour until I had to mention something to the bartender. I told her how cold it was and she apologized and gave us a free round of drinks. She went to the thermostat and pushed the buttons up at least 7° so it could be more comfortable for us. I thought it was very good on how she handled the situation considering the fact that we got free drinks!

I will never forget as a young child my dad always stressing me to always take care of the things that we owned.

I used to have a bike and I would not ride my bike very nicely.

I used to take my bike everywhere around the neighborhood ride it through puddles and throw it on the ground without using the kickstand. As I got older his value of taking care of things carried with me into adulthood. Once I started driving and I bought my first car I made sure to take care of it. If I spilled something I would clean it immediately. I made sure that I had proper field fluids in my car, and even at my tires rotated. My dad’s lesson also carried into when I owned my first home. My dad always stressed about the importance of keeping up with the HVAC system. It’s important to keep up with your HVAC system considering the fact that it cools and heats your home during the seasonal months. I will change out my air filter every three months or so to ensure efficiency. However I leave the HVAC cleaning to the licensed HVAC professionals in my area. I have been told by my HVAC technician that if you do not clean your HVAC system it can affect the condensing coils and air filters causing them to clog and reducing the efficiency of your HVAC system. You can lose up to 5% of energy and efficiency when you don’t clean your HVAC system.

The HVAC technician will do a major cleaning on my HVAC system right before the winter and summer months

When I was younger I will never forget my mom always stressing about cleaning. I felt like she had a obsessive compulsive disorder when it came to cleaning our home. It was the worst when we would be off from school during the summer and every day our mom would have a list of things for us to clean. I was fine doing chores but everyday having to clean something was a little overwhelming. When I was younger I told myself that I could not wait until the day that I could move out of the house and be able to control when I could clean my own home. Unfortunately when I thought that when I was younger I was completely wrong. Now I’m the type of person who doesn’t want to clean my home at all and I like to hire people to come and clean because sometimes my home can get really dirty. I definitely blame my mother for this and wish that my mom wasn’t so obsessive about it that I turned to hating to clean. I even hire an HVAC technician to come and clean my HVAC system and change my air filter out. I set up a maintenance plan with my HVAC provider to come every 3 months or so and do a small cleaning and change out my air filter. The HVAC technician will do a major cleaning on my HVAC system right before the winter and summer months. I would rather have a professional HVAC technician who knows what he’s doing to clean my HVAC system than I doing it.

For the type of work that I do it is very hard emotionally for me at times. I work with a lot of people who are not as fortunate as some Americans are. A lot of these people that I work with live in very old and smaller homes where their houses are getting paid from by the state. I love the type of work that I do because I am able to help them. This morning a woman that I was working with lived in a really old house and it seemed as if she didn’t have any air conditioning system. I asked her if there was anything she needed for her home and she told me a portable air conditioning system. I saw that she had air registers throughout her house so I asked if there was some point in time where she did have air conditioning. She said that she did but she believes that it needed to be replaced and she didn’t have the money for it. I decided to help this woman out because she was one of my clients. I called my cousin who’s an HVAC technician to see if he could come take a look at our HVAC system for free. When he came out he inspected the HVAC system and air conditioning and said that it looked like it was never cleaned and that is why the air conditioning system was not working. He used a few cleaning tools and was able to get most of the dust and other particles out of the system in about an hour.

My morning routine can get a little old at times. Especially because I am not a morning person whatsoever. I will wake up and set my alarm the night before about 10 minutes before I’m supposed to wake up. This is so I can lay in my bed for an extra 10 minutes, try to wake up and check my phone to see if I have any messages. Then I will brush my teeth, get in the shower and get changed for my work day. After I get changed I’ll pack my lunch, grab my breakfast and eat on the go. Then I have to make my 30 minute commute to work. Sometimes the drive can get a little annoying because it’s so long and I listen to the same songs over and over. But every week I get through it. The other day when I went into work I couldn’t believe how cold the office was. It felt like the air conditioning system was put on full blast. I went over to it and saw that it was set to 74. It wasn’t a bad temperature but I wasn’t sure why it was so cold. I set the thermostat up to 77 degrees. After about 20 minutes I thought that the changes that I made to the thermostat was going to take effective immediately, but it didn’t. The owner had programmed the thermostat so any changes made would be overridden by his temperature that was programmed. At first I thought the thermostat was broken and I would have to call an HVAC technician.

Since it’s the middle of summer I have been doing a lot of yard work and trying to maintain my flowers and plants so they do not die.

I have a lot of hanging baskets on the side of my deck so trying to water and feed them is a little difficult since they hang up so high.

However this past week I haven’t had to water them as much because we had multiple thunderstorms that poured on my flowers and other plants. Unfortunately the rain storm did more than just water my flowers. I had a few of my roof shingles fall off, and my electricity would not turn on for four hours. Those four hours were torture for me. This was because I had no air conditioning in my home. I have central air conditioning and there was no cold air coming out of my air registers at all. Each hour I was hoping that the a/c would turn on. It took four hours for it to kick back on but no cold air was circulating around my house. I made sure to call my HVAC system to see if there was a problem with it. It turns out that due to the sudden electrical outage, it did something to my HVAC system. The improper shut off occurred an electrical problem with the HVAC system. I was upset by this because it would be more money that I would have to invest into my HVAC system. Last week I had to purchase HVAC air filters for my system too.

Last night my sister and I decided to go out to dinner and then go see a movie afterwards.

The restaurant that we went to was having a deal where they had discounted movie tickets.

We decided it would be a good idea since we are already in the mall having dinner and the movies were in the mall as well. We went to the movie theater and we couldn’t believe how cold it was. The HVAC system was up very high and so was the air conditioning. If you were extremely hot that day it would feel nice but for people like my sister and I who were comfortable temperature-wise, we thought that it was a little cold. But we brought sweaters with us so we were prepared and ready to take on the colder temperature. Compared to the older movie theater in my town, their HVAC system is not very strong as new movie theaters are. About a month ago we went to see a movie in town at the oldest theater and we felt very uncomfortable throughout the whole movie. It seemed as if there was no air-conditioning running but just a fan. I believe that there was no air conditioning because the building is old and it would cost an arm and a leg to install any sort of HVAC system. All movie theaters should have some sort of HVAC system, their customers need to feel comfortable. Customers should never feel too cold or too warm.

Just recently I left my job. My job consisted of working at the local hospital for 10 1/2 years. I met some pretty amazing and hard-working people at my job wasn’t claimant. Unfortunately the time came for me to leave because of unfair treatment at the hospital that I work at. I was there for 10 1/2 years and I only received a raise one. They’re going to hire a new girl who had the same exact job title is meats and didn’t have any experience in the field whatsoever. I went to my human resources to talk to them about the problems that they do not assist me or help me at all. I dealt with the problem for about 4 1/2 months telling them that if nothing changed I would walk away. That is exactly what I did. I don’t think that they took my request seriously a Knouff. Know that I no longer have a job, I really have to watch the amount of money that I spent. Just recently my HVAC system decided to feel on me. I had to call my HVAC tech mission to see what he could do. Because my HVAC system was over 15 years old he said the best that would be for me to replace it instead of repair the whole thing. He even told me that I would save more money on my HVAC system. I decided to go that route instead. Since it was just the July 4 holiday I ended up saving more money than I thought I was going to on a brand-new HVAC system. Plus I received a 0% ATR for six months. That was also going to save me a juice amount of money as well. Thanks to my HVAC provider and her wonderful assistant and great station, I was able to save money on their products.

This past weekend it was a beautiful weekend for a car show. Every year there’s an annual car show at a beautiful venue in the mountains near where I live. People drive all over to this car show. There were hundreds of old cars. My boyfriend who is a big fan of cars, loves to collect cars and admire them. Because there were so many cars there were a lot of people as well. There were a lot of food vendors and there were people selling their items that they don’t use anymore as well. There were some people who were selling things that were car related and there were other people selling a lot of household items. There was this one vendor selling HVAC equipment. She was selling a lot of digital thermostats, pieces of flexible ductwork, and some tools for cleaning HVAC systems. I had a feeling that this guy may have had been a retired HVAC technician and has collected HVAC equipment over the years. My boyfriend was interested in some of the HVAC equipment but decided to buy the digital thermostat and cleaning tools. The digital thermostat costed only five bucks because the guy wanted to get rid of it. He came back home and tried to install the digital thermostat. It turns out that the digital thermostat was a little outdated for his moderate and HVAC system. Even though the digital thermostat didn’t work quite well for him the HVAC cleaning tools that he purchased work well for cleaning his HVAC system.

Just last week I could not believe how hot it was. The temperatures reached to the upper 90’s, not including heat index. I was so hot during the day, I did everything to cool down. Normally I like to keep my windows down in my car but that whole week I blasted my air conditioner in my car. I even had Popsicles to have ready for me after my run in the morning to cool down as well. In my house I blasted my central air conditioner to keep the humidity down and so my animals would stay cool as well. When I came home from work one day last week I wanted to go and run outside. I couldn’t go and run outside because it is way too hot by the time I got out of work it was during the hottest point of the day. Therefore I went to a small private gym that one of my friends owns. Not a lot of people left there because it’s only exclusive and only he lets people live there that he knows. When I balked in there the gym is very warm. I went over to the portable air conditioner and turn anon. He had one portable air conditioner and one window air conditioner. I made sure to turn the mud pie for at least a good 10 minutes so the gym to cool down immediately. Had to of been almost 100° in the gym. After about 20 minutes I turn down both of the air-conditioners and started my worked out. It was very comfortable in there thanks to the AC units.
